About Keltic Quay Bayfront Lodge & Cottages

Before Keltic Quay graced the northeast shores of Bras d’Or Lakes, current owner Steve Smith initially planned to build a summer home or cottage for his own personal use. He later decided on building Keltic Quay to showcase the quality products he sells in his building supply company to potential clients.

After what can be considered an enormous amount of work, Keltic Quay Bayfront Lodge & Cottages opened its doors in the summer of 2005. The Cape Breton cottage resort is home to six exquisite cottages, with two-bedroom suites located on the lower level and one-bedroom suites located on the upper level. Each cottage is situated within twenty-five feet of the Whycocomagh Bay and proudly recognized by Canada Select as 4 ½ star accommodations.
